rummaging through my old rc stuff i found an Associated S1903 Metal Gear servo. my question is would this be considered as overkill for a steering servo or should i just use it. also i have a JR servo model NES-537. cant remember what i bought it for. could i use either one for steering? i dont really wanna have to fork out anymore money than i have too.

It's only got 41 oz. of torque, and is a plastic gear servo. It will get you running, but I'm not sure how long it's gonna hold up. The Hitec 645MG is a great budget-minded servo. It's what I use and it's around $35.00

i'll be getting a hitec 645mg. i've neem told that the futaba s9102 has only about 10 oz.in less than the hitec but futaba's website says different.
