Sidewinder and a BEC

I set my crawler up last night with a CC BEC. Here's my question, since I no longer have a power wire to the ESC is there a way I can still program it using the Castle Link?

Now my Mamba Max, I don't even have to have power to the ESC at all. The usb powers it while being programed.

Yes...just plug the red wire back in.

That would be all well and good, but the wire broke coming out. I'm glad I'm happy with the settings the way they are....

I may have to try plugging it back in and maybe even puting power to it and see if it works without the red RX wire that way.

you could always get another plug and fix it...

Yeah...I'll figure something out if I need to reprogram it. It's working great right now, so I'm not gonna change anything at the moment.
