I just started doing that mod list...
I just worked on the links and shotcks at the moment. I notched the skid plate, but didn't drill the frame. I still maintain a 12.5 inch wheel base...
I do have some concerns with the drive line angles... look a bit hard, but I love the lower stance this kit did.
It looks so nice sitting lower and all!!! I also bought all the bolts and nuts mentioned in this, packs of 20 of each (21 bucks shipped) springs where 6 bucks for the front (axial reds for the front) and bought a tube and cut it up for the 6x6mm spacers... much cheaper at 2.49.
so I have less than 30 bucks in it for about 3 setups of what CK RC Crawler sells the kit for 50 bucks!!

Looks real nice. For a lower ride height your articulation is HUGE. Very impressive!!!

Low and Slow... Thats the way it should be...
Thanks for the comments... I will test out the performance tomorrow when I take my Jeep out for a crawl in Boone... :)

Not at the moment... but I can snap off some good photos with a ledgend of some sort...
I have to adjust to crawling this low... but I do have to say with the stance now lower and more weight on the wheels, its unstopable!!! much nicer, just a little learning curve!

Why are your uppers all the way in and the lowers all the way out?

Was trying to push the axels out to reach the max of 12.5 inches center to center... bad things is that it kils the drive line angle. The CKRC kit show that you need to drill a hole about 5mm further back for the uppers.

Why don't you just move the uppers back to the stock location to fix the pinion angle?

I did this for the rear.... then I added a 6x6mm spacer at the axle of the front upper... it fixed it in the front as well... I have still maintained a 12.5 wheel base.
:)
I will post some photos shortly!
