Looking good... I am loving the edge more and more...

My Rock Crushers (BFG Crawlers), HR bent links/aluminum rod ends, Delrin skid w/ upper link mounts in boarded came in today, so I slapped it all on.
Also got my Integy 55T, Mamba Max ESC/Castle Link, Deans connectors, Castle 10 AMP BEC, and 7 cell split pack in.
I had no idea that the Mamba came with a Castle Link in the box, so I have an extra Mamba compatible Castle Link. Don't know if any of yall need one. I'll stick it in the FS thread and give yall first cheap dibs. My loss, your gain.:D
Pics up later.

I'm sitting at 2 3/8" at the belly and the tires measure right around 5 3/8" tall.

Got it running last weekend thanks to Scarface and Silas. Put it together real quick like so it was all kinda booty fab. Ran it with the Rock Crushers, they sucked (go figure right?).:D
We couldn't figure out why using the Castle Creations 10 AMP BEC was bypassing the ON/OFF switch, so I left it off for the day. Talked to the LHS guy about it later and turns out that it is supposed to bypass the switch. So plugging in the battery is the new ON switch.
I went ahead and wired up the BEC and cleaned up all the wiring in the chassis. Re-murdered the body panels I made at Scarface's place and murdered almost all of the green left. I am still working on grooving the tires.

Mounted the Mamba under the hood. I thought it was very fitting.

I liked the way smallcrawl did his, so I borrowed part of his design. Thanks.

Figured it was time for an update since its been running for a while now.....
After hearing so many good things about the HH Pullers I decided to pull the trigger. Got it in the mail this weekend while I was gone, so hopefully I get a chance to throw it in tonight.
Also got one half of the RCP Straight Axle Rear kit in. Just waiting on the axle adapters to get back in stock.
http://webwheeling.com/gallery/d/49605-1/AX-10+Build+26.JPG
So my current setup when the new stuff goes in will be......
TCS Edge Chassis w/ Homebrew Aluminum Panels
TCS Delrin Skid
Axial Tranny
Holmes Hobbies 7 Turn Puller Motor
14T Pinion
CC Mamba Max
CC 10 AMP BEC
JR Sport SG126MG High-Torque Servo
Futaba Radio/Reciever
Axial Axles
RCP Rear Straight Axles
Axial Aluminum Shocks w/ Droop Setup
TCS Rear Four Link
HR Rear Bent Links
TCS 7 Cell Split Packs
Deans Connectors
Axial Wheels w/ TCS Delrin Beadlock Rings
Proline M3 Hammers

http://webwheeling.com/gallery/d/49611-2/AX-10+Build+28.JPG
I'm happy with the whole setup as of now. It goes where I want with no torque steer, nice and stable, usable articulation, and good run time. The Hammers are def an upgrade over my grooved Lizards.
My only complaint would be with the Futaba radio/reciever combo. I don't get bad glitching, but it just sucks when it does happen.

Well I gave in today at the Hobby Stop and bought a Spektrum DX3R. (Of course I was already sold the second I drove Silas's a while ago.)
Got the HH 7T Puller and the DX3R hooked up and running. Its raining out so I just stacked some stuff in my room.
Man did it bring a smile to my face. It crawls like a fawkin dream with no glitching at all. I can't wait to get it outside.
I might take some pics later. You've all seen the motor and the DX3R before, so its nothing to exciting to look at.

I went outside and ran it on my rock course for about half an hour today. Batteries ran strong all the way through. I came inside just because it was cold.
I've read alot about people killing 1500 mah packs with the 7T Puller, so I was worried I was going to have the same problem. My gearing seems to be perfect and I don't think the batteries are being overworked. They don't seem to get hot or really even warm.
What do you guys think? Wouldn't the batteries have to get hot/warm if they were being overworked or drained to fast?
Cajun

Yep, you would have been able to tell if they were being drained too fast. They'll get VERY warm.

So, say I were to sell this on the fly. What would a good asking price be?
Not saying I am going to sell it..........but the Dodge needs a clutch before trying to pull the 4Runner to Harlan. So if I could get it sold for a good price in the next three weeks I would probably let it go.
My current setup would be sold as is......
TCS Edge Chassis w/ Homebrew Aluminum Panels
TCS Delrin Skid w/ Inboarded Link Mounts
Axial Tranny
Holmes Hobbies 7 Turn Puller Motor
14T Pinion
CC Mamba Max
CC 10 AMP BEC
JR Sport SG126MG High-Torque Servo
Spektrum DX3R Radio
Spektrum SR3100 Receiver
Axial Axles
RCP Rear Straight Axles
Axial Aluminum Shocks w/ Droop Setup
TCS Rear Four Link
HR Rear Bent Links
3 TCS 7 Cell Split Packs and 2 TCS 8 Cell Split Packs
Deans Connectors
Proline M3 Hammers
Mayhem Eng Competition Double Phattys Beadlocked Wheels w/ Ball Bearings
Rockhammer Hybrid Memory Foams
Delta Base Pro-Peak 0.5/1/2.5A Battery Charger
It would also come with....
Axial Wheels w/ TCS Delrin Beadlock Rings
Pro-line Memory Foams
Stock Grooved Axial Tires
Futaba T2PHKA Radio/Receiver
Plus my tackle box full of spare parts. (Links, screws, connectors, rod ends, etc.)
The Spektrum combo is almost brand new. I took it out maybe 3 times. So no scratches or dings. Same with the tires. The wheels have normal wear and tear, but are in good shape and come with spare beadlock screws.

Its probably worth 800-900 with everything since its been used/scratched but most of us on the forum only need a few pieces to complete our crawlers. Now if you sell it on ebay say you will throw in the dx3r and reciever for free if it goes over 700 you may be able to sell it. You might be able to get that much parting it out but thats a hastle that most dont go for. But on that topic, if you part it out I would like a shot at the mayhem beadlocks, axles and tranny :)

The bad thing here is that the market is so hot for most this stuff, you will have a hard time getting a decent return from it. To get the maximum, you have to part it out. Don't expect to get what you pay for things either, just will leave you heart broken when people low ball you on the price...
To give you an example...
I picked up a Berg that came with goodies...
Berg Kit (359)
2 Lipos (one was 60 bucks new the other 35 bucks new)
JR Servo (150 new)
2 spektrum micro servers
dig wire and switches
Proline Wheels
Hammers with foams
As you can see 600 plus bucks new, and I picked it up for 300.
I would say list the key items and part it out... Sell the rig as a roller, Sell the radio seperatly, sell the wheels, sell the speed control and BEC, and could find someone looking for just a puller motor, and sell the battery charger together.
Then throw in all the left overs with the roler (including the steering servo) you could get a good 450 to 500 bucks if you are willing to take a dive on it all, and maybe 600 if you wait for the right person. Other wise I think you will just have to hold on to it all.
I have seen fully decked out ax10s go for 250 and 300 bucks with radios and chargers.
And comp worthy rollers go for 150 to 200.
Its a gamble, but if you looking for loot fast, you will have to go cheap... if you don't care.. list it high and wait.
Thats just my opinion on it all.

I agree with Silas you return on the dollar will break your heart. Although you may get more on your return if you part it out the shipping and personal time spent can bring you back to just selling it out right. Sell the radio separate and put that sucker on fleabay.

I'm not going to dive into parting it out. Its all or nothing. I don't need the money that bad.
If all I can get is $300-$400 for the rig and radio then I will just keep it.
Thanks for the input though.

you can get 300 for it ,minus the radio, that radio would go fast for 250-275
so that would put you around 600...
