with the Castle link this thing is a breeze to set up but Im wondering if I should run the timing at it's lowest to maximize the run time and how much punch do you guys run?

I'll have to look, I honestly can't remember. I do have to put it on the computer to adjust my drag brake like we were talking about Thursday. I'm gonna try to do that today or tomorrow, I'll let you know what my settings are.

I finally got to reprogramming my Sidewinder today. I run my timing at normal and punch at low. Like I thought my drag brake was ony 50% too, I set it on up a ways. ;)

I have my drag brake set on 100% seems to work good for me. Helps a lot with the downhills.

I also run 100% drag brake.
My motor timing is normal.
The battery setting is set for 9V cutoff (3 volts per cell) - I run a 3 cell lipo.
I am running an Integy V10 50 turn single brushed motor with a 12 tooth pinion and the stock 87 tooth spur gear.

yeah, that new puller motor seemed to have a lot of UMMPH! I was happy with my drag brake setting, it held well. I had upped it to 90%.

I also think Im gonna slow the curve down a bit so maybe it does try to blow the tires off so bad or I may just have a heavy finger :thumb:
