With all the rain this week and more forcast for Saturday and Sunday, is there any way we can find out if the dam is open? That could definitely put a damper on things.

Yeah... I need to find out if there is a way to see if its open.

I do know that with all this rain it could pose to be an issue, but maybe they have kept it open for a while so it won't be flowing out like it was that one day...

If you look at the lake levels (monthly) it shows how high the water was on the 5th (close to when we did our last comp)... you can see it trending out the same almost...

I am going to look around more on this site... maybe its going to be our best friend when it comes to determining things there...

Mom and dad have desided to take off to the beach to take a look at some property Fri and Sat so we may have to hang around here and hold down the fort for the family Biz. I hate it when my parents just up and deside to do stuff. My dad and I run a biz together so if he out of town that puts me in town.

I am not saying yes yet because of the chance of rain. If I do come out could someone give me some better directions on how to get there from Statesvill. Mapquest says about 1 hour 45min. There has to be a shorter way. :)

Thats about right cause its an hour 15 from Winston, and an hour from High Point.
