I was told at my lhs that there is something called an r box that let's you hold down your brake for 5 sec's and it will switch a servo 180 degrees. They then told me to come to this forum and ask where to get one and how they work. Anybody? I'm trying to run 4 wheel steer and front dig with my dxs3 radio. Anything that will work would help. Thanks.

Hey
What are you trying to do with this?
It sounds perfect for a winch down with limited channels.

It sounds like something Punk RC would make.

I was told this at Kc hobby in high point/archdale. He did say it was called other things, but he called it an r box. I just need anything that will let me use 4 channels on a 3ch radio. A switch, r box whatever.

So what you are saying here to understand more of what your trying to accomplish, is this...
You want to have
Front Steering, Throttle, Dig, Rear Steering.
This device will split off your 3rd channel and control either or of the 2 servos for rear stear or dig?
I know of switch boards to turn on and off rear stear and to allow crab walk and stuff like that, but it doesn't expand channels...
I will see what it was they where talking about at KC...

I'm not sure of the guys name but it was the guy with red hair that has some crawlers himself. He said it would not really control a 4ch channel, but just turn on or off a 4ch. Which would work for dig. Thanks.

That was Mike... I will find out what he was talking about.
To turn on a channel on and off requires a channel of its on I would think... meaning you would still need a 4 channel radio.
Most crawlers have reverse, so holding down the break isn't possible unless you have a reverse lockout.

The Punk RC switch had you turn Left or Right and hold it for a few seconds and it would switch to a different mix or something.

Wow I think that may be it! Any idea how that works exactly? Or do I need to contact them? And hey you live around archdale? I'm out in kernersville, where do you crawl at? Any really good spots? And thanks for all the help this far people. This is by far the best help I've got on on any forum. And if I can't find that any cheaper I might just have to buy a dx5 radio. They have them for $85 at KC.
