Pineville Hobby Town (http://www.hobbytown.com/nccha/)or run down to Rock Hill to Hobby Stop (http://hobbystop.com/). Hobby Stop is further , but worth the trip, better store and MUCH better staff.

Dont forget CRC up near Sunset Rd. They have a impressive amount of parts in stock depending what you really need.

I live in south Charlotte too and can usually get up to CRC quicker than I can get down to Rock Hill Hobby Stop.

The Hobby Stop is catching on to the crawler thing and has always been great. They had a small section of axial spares. Thats where I found the Rock Star body and the claws and they have lots of hardware.

Call them first if you decide to head to CRC. They're geared more to the racers and don't carry any parts for models they don't sell. DOn't get me wrong, they're a great shop, but...not the same vib as Hobby Stop.

I went down to Hobby Stop today. The guys in there are super nice and super helpful. They must have listened to my noob jabber for 45 min. I'll def be making that my LHS. Only about a 25 min drive from my house.

They smiled when I mentioned the QCBers BTW.:D

I have not been down there since they got on the B-Wagon. That's real good to know. ;)
