I am thinking of starting a club to do comps and such. I have been members of other clubs and to help justify memberships they offered a package.
You get like a T Shirt or Lanyard or something plus a Card, and some stickers.
Well I want to do the same. I know a few of you don't want to compete, but those that do, or even if you don't, what is your feel on this? Do you think its a good Idea? Do you think I shouldn't even worry about that?

Sites pretty dead right now. Have you posted on RCC NC Section about this place? Seems like it might suck on your end putting the money into it if only the 5 of us join. IDK.

Well thats why I am asking the questions now... I know its slow... but once it builds, then I will sink the cash. Its going to run about 300 for the first batch of Ts, and another 200 for membership cards... right now, I don't see it happening soon. But if I stick with it, it will happen at some point.
Just want to offere something for membership other than a title.

I'd be game if the Edge is legal. I can't open the 2008 rules here at home. Have they decided yet?

in the rules they have this...
2.3.5 - 2.2 Crawler class bodiless overall dimension of the complete chassis must be at least
8"overall length, 3" overall width, and 3.75" overall height.
I have emailed them, but no response yet... that tells me yes as the EDGE fits those requirements.

The edge chassis measures approx. 11 3/8" long, 3 1/2" wide, and 4 3/8" tall. So like you said, that seems to work. I'd like to do some comps as long as it isn't too pricey.
