I'm running the AX10 with the 4" Losi shocks and have them set up with 20 wt. oil front and rear with and the adjuster nuts in the front screwed down 5/8" and the rear is at 7/8". When I scale an incline of 80+ degrees the left side (motor side) wrenches down due to the torque of such a climb. Should I increase the spring load on the left rear to help with this or not worry about it due to such a steep climb. This is not torque twist just the torque of the motor pushing the truck up the hill because all four tires are still on the ground?

I would call that tourqe twist..I also run losi shocks on my SWX ,with Brad Benders set up...Check out this link out http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=110201&page=34 ..................80 + degrees??

It was helpful but I have a few more questions being a newbie. He is running 35 wt in the rear right and 50wt in the left rear...... first question is if I'm running 20wt all the way around should I just tighten up the adjuster nut on my shock on the left rear or change the oil? Second question is what is the role of shock oil and the spring rate? Did I mention I'm a newbie.... LOL!!

THe oil is for dampening.... slows the reaction to thte springs down. Springs will aid in keeping the wheels down on the ground.... higher weight oil will make the rig react to bumps slower, but will also mask geometry issues you have have with the suspension set up...
Heavier oil will help with not noticing the torque twist but won't really fix it... it just slows it down. Remember one major thing... its a give/take relationship you will develop with your rig... one thing may help another, but could uncover a whole nother problem!!

Do Losi shocks come with detailed instuctions on how to put them together and set them up with oil? I want a set of these shocks, but I have never put shocks together for a crawler.
