HR axle BTA or ATA steering

I really hate my stock servo mount and steering set up on my HR axles. And was wondering if anyone has above the axle steering or knows where I can find one. I've tried two different setups with all thread but it always has to much slop. I love my new rig and chassis and all I need is a good steering setup to be done. I already have the ax10 bta knuckles that fit just right but I can't get a secure enough bar from knuckle to knuckle, and I have no way to make a custom cut one.

You dont have to machine a piece of flat stock like the CDW berg steering. You can use aluminum tubing with all thread in it and just bend both. It will be pretty strong and really cheap.

I didn't think about alum tubing, can it take pretty sharp bends? I've never played with it, and the links I tried to make needed some sharp bends.

I have had issues with some of the tubing and sharp bends... but go slow, and you should be ok... I would creat a jig as well to aid in keeping it from breaking.

Ok I'll give it a go. Know of any pics or have any of a HR axle that has it done? I just don't want to spend all this time on it and then see a much better setup the next day. As far as bending it under the servo arm or just going over the whole servo.

Best bet is just do a search on RCC... I am sure you will find something there.

I did search there before posting here and all I can fnd is berg pics and kits. Wish I had a cnc, I would make some for everybody that's on HR axles.

I really like the CDW design I saw on a Berg. I will make something like it for my HRs. I will post pictures when I get a chance to start (next week).
