Have you done any other mods or is she stock.

Man I wish I had not seem that. I had a Clod in 2001 and still want it back. I don't know of any way to seal up the cans being on the axles. I ran mine through many mud hole and never had any problems with 55t cans,but it couldn't have been good for them.

Motors do ok in water, but mud will shorten their lifespan for sure. Having to potentially replace two of them on a Clod makes it a bit more of a concern.
Otherwise I'd say it depends on if you want it to be competitive still or just for fun. If you're not going to compete with it, I'd say move all the electronics to one box and seal it up, it's really not too much work. If you want to keep the electronics low on the chassis you'll have to work on them induvidually, balloons are probably your best bet.

Thanks for the info guys I think I am going to leave well enough alone it is still a great Comp rig.
