One, Rockshow checked out for a while back in Franklinville. Nice rock, stupid grip, but to do a few courses, we would have to spread it out over a couple rock croppings. Mike posted up photos of that here...

Very nice rock. Decently high traction. Not a bad hike to a couple of locations.

The next place was the bomb to me... it was a little hot, little mossy, but overall, a great comp location. Also there is something else to do there :) Ziplines!!!

Buddy at Richland Creek Zipline Canopy Tours (http://www.richlandcreekzipline.com/page1.aspx) was kind enough to give us a ride down to the creek/waterfall in the Gator... these rocks are nice, and plenty of them. There seems to be more up and down the creek.

Of course this is on private land, and we will have limited access to it, but I feel I can work a deal with Buddy and have a good size comp there.

Sorry for the crappy blackberry photos :) didn't tote my good camera down.

I'm excited about the zipline spot. Mike at KC Hobby has told me about this place a few times.

I went to riverside park this weekend. Most of the rockpiles were in the shade and there was no foot traffic (sat morning).

Yeah Mike told me about it as well... I called up Buddy (spoke to his wife instead) and got me a time to go down and see it. Rockshow, KvilleKrawler, and myself spent a good bit today crawling and scoping it out. There are some grade A stupid hard lines there, as well as some great overall crawling. To cool off today we went to riverside... was well worth it!!
