WV4WD Poor dealings, 2 times now

1st deal: I purchased a set of Mayhem wheels from him awhile back and offer less than he was asking but he accepted the offer so I Paypal'd him that same day. It then took him 2 weeks to ship them out to me. I understand work schedules interfering with shipping but he claims to work during the week and ships on Saturdays but stll no call for waiting 2 weeks to ship out after telling me on 3 different PM's that the wheels had been shipped and then changed his story after I questioned the time it was taking.

I figured he might be better this time so I would give it another chance

2nd deal: He had offered his Rockshow chassis for sale and I waited untill he had posted that he was including the dig tray and wiring with the chassis 2 body sets and the extras for $150. I offered $125 and we PM'd back and forth a time or two about what was included and finally settled on $130 and I cover Paypal charges. I sent $135 and received the chassis and extra body set 4 days later. After opening the package I notice that there is no dig tray, wiring or the extras he said he would included. I PM'd him about the missing parts and he didnt think we had agreed on the extras or the dig even though it was posted in his ad and I listed it in the Paypal notice when I sent payment. He agreed to send it out ASAP.That was on Friday 7-24-09. No package was received last week so I PM'd him a couple times about the shipment and got no answer for a couple days so I requested a refund if he had a problem standingby his end of the deal. I get a PM from Brandon late on Saturday telling me the dig went out 8-1-09 Saturday morning and he didnt have the cash or credit to offer me a refund. My problem with this deal is that it's been over 2 weeks since the orignal payment was sent to Brandon and he received it and I still dont have everything that was agreed upon in our PM's about this deal. Now he's blaming me for waiting 2 weeks to ask for a refund. I cannot understand how this is my fault for trying to give him time to ship and contact him about the problems with the missing pieces.

My question to you guys is " Was it wrong of me to request a refund after waiting 2 weeks for Brandon to make this right and ship the missing pieces and I still dont have them yet and it looks like I wont have them untill Wednesday or Thursday, which is another week gone?" Ive tried to be more than fair with Brandon on this and the other deal we made together but it seem that since the deal was made in my favor that he does not see or feel the need to ship in a timely manner. I think Ive been a good seller and buyer on this forum and many other including Ebay where I have 100% A+ deals.

Just so you guys know I hate to post bad feed back on anybody without giving them the chance to make it right but now that Brandon is blaming me for the problems I feel the need to offer this up for all to see since it appears that some of you have had good dealings with him in the past. I can and will post the PM's to back up my story if any of you need to see them but Im 40 years old and try to be an honest and frugal buyer and seller. I did offer a lower price for what Brandon was selling but he accepted and I dont think that he should hold out on timely shipping or supplying all of the items is fair to me since we agreed on a price based on what was posted in his classified ad

Hey Eric, sorry to hear that it has happened again with this member. I know you "bit your tongue" last time when getting empty promises trying to get the guy to ship the Mayhem wheels within the month. I even wished you luck this 2nd time around. Sorry, didnt mean to rub it in. ;)

I understand not wanting to leave negative feedback. I am the same way. But after several attempts and plenty of time, a "borderline" shady seller has no one to blame but himself for the negative feedback he receives. And you shouldnt feel bad about it. You tried.

Maybe you can file a claim with paypal, get your money back AND get the parts too. Being the good guy that I know you are, you'll either send the parts or the money back.

But do me a favor buddy, please take your own sweet sweet time doing it. :D




*Hope it ALL works out and Brandon gets you squared away. But let me know, I have a dig tray w/ switches & servo if ya need it. PunkRC is the way to go though. Got that same RS chassis too. ;)

I was gonna put that in the post about talking it over with you and you warning me about giving him another try but after reading some of the good deals he had with other members I hoped that this deal woudlve been better but I shouldve took your advise and just let him sit on his chassis and got a new one from T1E

I even posted up will sell for $150 with electronics. We PM'd around for awhile about the dig switch and I agreed to sent it anyway to avoid any hard feelings and hassle and after I ship it you decide you want a refund. I told you that I have no problem refunding your money, you asked for a refund on Saturday and give me till Sunday to send it, Im sorry but thats why I had to sell the stuff was cause I needed the money and I just dont have it right now and needed a week or so to come up with it. Oh and yes you did get the extras, I had listed Rockshow chassis with extras and you got them and some, extras- 2 sets of skins, upper & lower links, all the ends, and shocks that was the extras. Im not willing to argue over this with you anymore but if you check the dates of the post versus the PM's I never even made an offer or asked about the set up untill you posted that the electronics were included for $150. At that point I offer the $125 and we agreed on $130 and I paid the additional to cover any Paypal fees. So it would stand to reason that my offer was for the very last thing you posted and that was that everything included for $150 and that extras you spoke of were in the orignal post not extras that you told me you would send but no biggie at this point. Like I stated before it's all good in your eyes as long as the deal is in your favor and when it's not you screw or cheat the other party in some way. Do not blame me for waiting for 2 weeks when I have tried a couple times to contact you about the problems and you would not respond untill Saturday morning after you claim to have shipped the missing parts. I only request the refund after not getting an answer from you for almost a week after you told me you were shipping it right out.

Like I said before Im to old to treat anyone unfair but I do like to be treated fairly so with that being said I wil take the refund and let me know if a week is long enough to give you to come up with the $135 and I will return all the stuff in the orignal packaging since that is where it is today waiting on your answer

Brandon, I would like to add that I do understand your misfortune with your truck's tranny. Our 02 Jetta's possible $5000 tranny replacement turned into a $13000 trade for an 06 Murano just last week but that's not my issuse with this deal. Trust me, I know how tranny problems put a hurting on your pocket! ! ! ! I do feel your pain :thumb:

Just one more reason for my asking for a refund. Brandon states he shipped the missing dig tray and wiring last Saturday from WV to NC (2-3 days max) and today is 7 days later and still nothing has arrived from Brandon via USPS or UPS. So I sent Brandon a request for money via Paypal and listed the money as a refund for the chassis set that I purchased from him but never received all of the missing parts.

Almost another week down and nothing in the mail from Brandon with w Dig tray in it and still no refund. Tomorrow is 1 week from Brandon's promise to refund my funds into my account. I've been trying for over a week to contact him regarding the status of the refund or the Dig to see if he even sent it or if he did does he have a tracking number so we can find it to make sure he gets it back.

Brandon, Im asking you nicely to please let me know what is going on and can I expect the refund tomorrow like you had posted?

As of today Paypal is siding with him because he has a tracking number that shows I received the package even thought I provided his statement saying he left out the Dig and waited 2 weeks then said he sent it but would refund me anyway. Im going to call Paypal to get this resolved since I provided PM's and the post where he said he left it out and would refund my costs but has done neither.

I checked his profile here and on RCC and no hits since the 12th so he's hiding or lurking. Ive tried emailing and PM's but Brandon will not respond to either. If Paypal would give me his number I would try a call to resolve this.

It just sucks that I had a crappy deal the first time and gave him another try and got screwed once again by this little :ahole1:

In the end he will get what is coming to him since Ive got some vacation coming up and I will be doing some traveling :thumb:

I am not going to ban anyone for deals gone wrong, NCRCC has nothing to do with it other than being a means of advertising something you have forsale... In general (not saying anything about this isntance) there are 2 sides to the story. It is not my intentions to dig into both sides and act as a judge, and same goes for the mods. This form was designed to warn others of bad transactions, not to arbitrate a debate on payment or anything else. Brandon like Eric has paid for a membership to post here. The only thing to consider here is taking classifieds down so that no one ever runs into an issue related to the site selling items.

The last thing I would want is to close the classified over my dealings with a bad seller. I only posted up the negative things so others could see what kind of seller Brandon WV4WD is. I am certainly not looking for anyone here to take my side over Brandon or intervene on my behalf. I have given Brandon a ton of time to resolve this matter and keep his word to me as he posted on the forum and in PM's. I am taking the matter into my own hands by contacting Paypal to help bring this matter to a close but unless Brandon has the funds in his account I wont see a dime or they may track his transactions and refund my money at a later date.


Silas , please dont shut down the classified over this deal. If it will make it better just lock this thread. I do need access to it for proof of the missing Dig and his agreement to the refund for the Paypal dispute
