Ok guys I installed a Spektrum DX 3.0 on the AX-10 today and having problems, sometimes the brakes work and sometimes they dont, If Im on a hill and it starts to roll back I can tap the throttle forward and then they start working. Was wondering if there is a setting on the DX3.0 that I need to set up cause the radio was on a Nitro before I put it on the AX-10. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks Brandon

I would start by resetting that particular profile to the default settings. It's only a couple of buttons and everything returns to the factory defaults. That should at least give you a predictable base to start testing components.

Sounds good I will try that, thanks:thumb:

Mine was doing that to and I messed with the throttle trim and it fixed the problem.

hey

If you still have the problem, your throttle channel is not set the neutral position.

So your esc thinks you are still telling it to go forward at a very low current. Therefore it rolls.

You can fix this by setting your radios throttle trim to neutral and then reprograming your esc. After that you can verify that your radio and esc agree on the neutral position because the light on the Rooster turns red (I think) when it is neutral. (solid green full throttle forward, blinking green ful throttle reverse, I think)
