New here and new to RC crawlers. I'm building my first and I'm doing on the Cheap and from whatever I can find. I've torn apart a Cheapy New Bright and trying to build it into something worthy. I guess by the size IT'll calssify as a Super Crawler.

The picts of yours answered an issue I've had with mine. the way your shocks mount to the links! How well does that work for you? Seems like a slick idea especially for as long as my Links are going to be and the way mine is gonna have to be built due to the booty fab parts I'm using.

not mine

but i had some supers before and that is really the only way to set it up unless you got some 150mm shocks then you'll end up with a funky shock angle.

Got to finally take it out today and run it some at a local school that had a good place for crawling... It seemed to do very well as im sure some of the guys that were there will chime in, however.. those tires on it suck..I will be putting the OEM Gmades back on there they are much softer than the Mudslingers... other than that all I can say is that truck was worth every penny I paid for it

You're not kidding, it was about half the width of my tailgate from end to end. It was sweet, makes me want a super. I still may do a Maxx super sometimes in the future.

Yeah Steve, that was the only bad thing I noticed (the tires). They did seem way to stiff, but dug great holes when you activated the dig feature!! Other than that, a very, very nice rig!
