I installed some droop springs tonight... and I am not likeing it what so ever...

Not sure what else I need to set up differently.... but it sits way to low...

I know that in most cases Low is good, but in scale your tackling obsticles that are vertually impossible at 1:1 in a buggy.

I couldn't make it halfway up a few logs I have in the back yard... even though I have articulation out the rear... Its not useable...

Not sure if bent links have a play at it or if its just to soft of springs (TCS Meds, and I have some softs I didn't even want to play with here) or maybe I need some harder oil?

I can get Perpendicular with the articulation, but i can't climb over **** due to the lowered belly....

Whats your take?

How are you running the springs/spacers? Can you get a pic.

I was just running the springs under the plunger on in the shock... no spacers...

should I have done it differently?

I ran my stock bumpstop/spacer like this to limit droop and get rid of the "useless flex".....

I also had 4, 1/4" long black plastic spacers left over from the build that I stuck on the outside of the shaft to set ride height. I think they were one of those optional "aluminum green or black plastic" pieces. They aren't as big around as the stock bumpstop/spacer.

Obviously, I really have no idea how it will run on the trail. The ride height seems good for me.

I know some people have to change their driving style or switch back to their original setup.

I have those "bump stops". I thought of running them, but even with the 1/4 inch bumpstop, it would still leave me at 1.5 inchs ride height. I was just at 1.25 inches with the med springs. Not sure what happened there...

I may buy a second set of springs to set up for it, not sure though.. I just set it all back to stock.

It gave me a good bit more than a 1/4" of ride height when I did it.

hmm... dunno then...

I need to revist... but driving style couldn't help this..... it got worse!
