Well we took to new Hammer M2's out on their Mayden Voyage today. I have to say I was impressed. We are running Memory foams and for a tire that I hear requires a good bit of brake in time to really get good performance out of they worked flawlessly. They made lines that my Losi Claws struggles with or just did not make at all. Go Figure? They handled everything we threw at them with lil effort and they slow crawl and side-hill extremely well. I thought nothing could run with the Losi in dry conditions but pro-line must be tired of hearing the word Losi as well cause they raised the bar with this one. To sum it up, the Hammer made short work out of any situation and didn't even sweet!! And I hear they only get better.

Thekingcrawler broke out a new set of the M3 Flatirons also. I was impressed with this tire as well. He felt they did not side-hill as good as he wished but i thought they done really well and would prabably be even better in the M2 compound. As for the flat out crawlen ability of the Irons on Faces, crevices, ledges, and anything else we threw at them they worked and worked well. Some might say it was a tose up between the Flatirons and the Hammers when crawlen almost straight up. Pro-line done an excellent job with both these tires and will sale quite a few of them when all is said and done.

Losi may have won everything sence its first competition deduex, but there are 2 new cats in town, They go by the name "Hammer and Irons" Kinda like Starskie and Hutch or Solo and Skywalker, or maybe even Chips and Salsa. You get my meaning they were all A$$ KICKERS in the First degree. Except for the Chips and salsa they're just yummy. Man I must be gett'en hungry, Anyway...

If you are looking for a good tire and are just tired of hearing the word Lois then these 2 are worth a serious look!!!.You want go wrong with either.:thumb:

Slaped on a set of M3 Flatirons with pro-line memory foam today. These tires give me mixed feelings. first I wish they were M2's, second they tend to slide under power on sidehills, and third they are great on vertical climbs. I wished they side hilled better but I'm not giving up on them. I think the problem is more with the Pro-line memory foam than the tire. I'm going to get a set of Kreepy foams for them and try them with that setup and see if that takes care of the issue i'm having. But right now I think the Hammer's and Losi Claws work better on our trucks.

I'm not doubting you, but I was curious. Could you explain your thoughts on the foams? Why would the Mems not sidehill as well as the Kreepys? Just not enough side wall flex to allow enough contact patch?

I pretty sure I'm going with Flat Irons on my scaler I have going togther right now, I really like the "look". I also want them to perform as well as possible. Please let us know your test results.

Ok, there is a huge difference between Pro-line mem's and Kreepy mem's. The pro-lines are really soft, light and recover quick to be mem's when mashed, plus they are just slightly larger than the tire. The Kreepy's are much larger and 20 times gooier, twice as heavy and seem to hold there shape to what ever they are mashed against longer. They fill up the tire much better and in all my other tires they work fantastic. Trust me there is no conpairison between the 2. The kreepy's are really nice memory foams and worth every penny. I have been told that the Ace Donuts are really close to the kreepy's.

Now for the tire. I love this tire. It looks awesome on any truck and will definitely inhance the look of any scaler. This tire works wonderful on steep faces. The issue I have is that the sidwall rolles over way to much when climbing up and then having to turn around the side of the rock at the same time you need to be climbing, causing the truck to push much like an ill handling racecar wants to go straight insted of turn under power. Sometimes you need to hold the edge of a rock trying not to fall off when in an off camber tilt and a push spells tragady in this situation. This happens due to the emance amount of grip that the tire has. This is why I think the Kreepy mem's would work much better than the pro-line. The kreepy's would hold the sidewalls up better allowing the contact patch of the tire to do the work and not the side wall, doing away with the push and allowing the truck to turn and keep its line, which is critical when making gates.

Does any of this make scence. I hope so. We are doing everything we can to figure this tire out, because I feel that set up right it is a serious force to be reconed with. There's alot of potential here and i entend to find all of it.

Post up any questions you may have, if I can't help ya someone here can or I will get an answer for ya quick as I can. I don't know everything thats for sure but we test alot of different setups and work really hard at making our trucks work and work well. I learn something every time I take the truck out to the rocks.

Thanks for all the info, I'll have to try a set of Kreepys. I was happy with the Proline Mems in my Hammers, but those are the first ones I've tried. I like them much better than regular cut foams, but will have to reserve final judgemenrt till I try some other foams.

I do have one other question at the moment. Do any of you guys up there have a Tamiya F350 body, bumper and grill you wanna sell? :D

Let me know if he does. Used is great as long as there are no cracks. Heck, for the right price I can fix the cracks. I'm really wanted to do that for the scaler I have going to gether.

You will like the kreepy mem's. When you pull them out of the package you will see what I'm talking about. They are like bubble gum. I'm fixing to order 3 sets of Ruby Red kreepy's today.

Where do you order the Kreepy's from? I'm not too impressed with the ProLine memory foam. However, I do not have alot of experience with Crawler "foams" anyways.
