i picked this up from mattc85 yesterday. ran it a little today. should be a fun rebuild. definetly needs a new coat of paint. :thumb: truggy or bobbed...hmmm..... who knows? the texas guys are having a scale top truck challenge in the next few months so gonna try to make it down for that run.

if anyone has any advice or useful info on making one of these look good and performing well it would be appreciated.

I would go with some softer springs and maybe try to find a diff trans for it so u can get the cg down alil lower. Also a servo winch would come in handy. Just my 2 cents. I have a highlift myself and its mostly stock. I just think it is top heavy and most of that is the trans. Both of the scalers I run now are on xtrail chassis and are using ax-10 trans they are a much better truck

awesome. the trans in mine is huge and hangs way down. kills the ground clearance. seen alot of the guys on the rctoyota forums are using the ax10 trans as a transfercase. may look into that.
