3 racing winch wont stop

i have a 3racing winch and tq3 traxxas w/3rd channel mod it willl reel in and out but wont stop the winch

You'll need a 3 position auxiliary channel irc. And the traxxas is a 2 position.

You need to be able to trim you center and adjust your end points.

try using channel 1 to test the winch
