Hey guys - finally found the pics of the super clod I built 2 yrs ago. I designed it on autocad, and wrote all the CNC programs, machined and assembled it. Had enough adjustments on the chassis to set it high to use as a monster, or set it low and slow. The angle finder I have said 112 degrees of articulation. Too bad I sold the thing. I've also learned a lot about suspension geometry since I made itand the next one will be light years better, but I don't know if I want to build another or not, the AX keeps me busy enough. Just though you guys would like to have a look. Pics are at http://s280.photobucket.com/albums/kk172/Wickedwaggy/

Thanks for the compliment. When I made it I was looking online and I saw how thin the other chassis were, so I made mine out of 7075 1/4" alum flatbar. Now that I have been through all the setup with the ax, and seen about cg, and all the other aspects - I would never make them that thick. 1/8 maybe, and make the chassis waaay shorter than it was. I think I got a 16" wheelbase on it when I set it low. It would take me about 16 hours to make another set, but it would take 18 hours to make 6 sets. Know anybody that would like some if I made more??

I bet you could get rid of them around here or QCB (queencitybashers.com/forum). I'd probably take a set, I'll build a Super eventually I'm sure.
