Gotta go with the wrangler body.. Havent seen one on here yet. I'd get one and paint it to match my real Jeep, but I'd hate to hack it up.. HPI makes em

I saw that...wonder how it would do with leafs up front. I have seen 1:1 with 4 link fronts and leaf rear but not the other....

I've seen them setup both ways (1:1's), and though they both work, I really prefer the feel of leaf rears & linked fronts. IMHO it gives a much more planted, stable feel. The biggest reason that I could see for going the other way is that it would be easier to setup steering that works well w/ leafs in the front. Less articulation allows for less thought in a working steering setup.

Square headlights???? C'mon. The only REAL jeeps were the original cherokees. 401 V8, quadratrac, th400 trannys and dana 44's. Had one with 9 inch lift and lockers. I do so miss that Jeep *sniff* However a chero is a chero. Can't knock 'em

I seen where rc4wd has a new scaler chassis coming out soon... 500 bucks but comes with scale axels and leafs and everything.... choice of R2 tranny, choice of tires, choice of wheels..

All you have to add to it is electrics and a body!

The tires look really cool. Does anybody have experience with thier tires, I know that they have several different kinds. I'd love to get some, but I'm not forking out cash for something I don't know anything about..

I have looked through many threads on rcc and i dont see any on comp rigs. That being said, they look really scale which is IMO the market that rc4wd serves.

So whats this new chassis? Any specs?

it's a scratch built chassis with the cage tied into the frame rails. I am gonna add bumpers and see what i can do about boat sides. 12" wheel base, axial running gear and axles. I got a 19t armature in a 27t can so will see if i can get some wheel speed,Mtronices marine esc and a towerpro 945 servo.
