Hey guys got a question about my Axial AX-10 Scorpion. It seem to have a fine line between crawl and to fast for crawling. By this I mean, if i'm crawling up some rocks very slowly and I get to a tough spot that requires a little more throttle, it's very easy to give it to much for what I'm climbing. Is this a motor/torque prob.? A ESC prob. or maybe gearing prob. Yeah I'm runnig stock gearing.

I'm pretty sure the RTR comes with a 27 turn motor. This is not a very good motor for crawling. While the RTR's speed controller isn't exactly ideal for a crawler, it is not your problem. I would suggest eventually upgrading to an ESC with a drag brake, but for your problem, you need a different motor.
One of the members here, Upanover has a couple 55t & a 50t motor for sale in the classified section here. Either of those motors would be much better for your crawler.
