I have a 4pl and twin fxr's. My problem is the front motor is coming in way before the rear. I have to turn the rear up to 120% for it come in about the same time. I have recaled the esc's to the radio over n over again. I have updated the software on both fxr's. I am almost ready to put the punk back in and get rid of the 4pl. Any suggestions on what I am doing wrong or what I am missing.
Thanks,

redo the esc's one at a time. U have to make sure they are the same. The lights will tell ya. If not fix it with the epa's if you don't like the adjustability. Isn't that why we go to 2 esc's?

I have done the fxr's both ways, together and single. I am just not sure if having to use the trim to get both esc's together was normal or not.

Not really normal. Never had to do it on my berg. May be differencies in the motors. U could swap them front to back. I had the same problems with Mike Bike's rig. I changed pinion mesh front and rear, changed timing front and rear, and ended up changing the rear motor. And still the front motor looks like it is just a INtegy powerhouse. I got a dyno in yesterday that should take care of those issues.
Onece I drove his rig I liked having the extra bit of adjustablty.
Maybe?

Is it possible that you have advanced the timing on the front motor?

I think the timing was the problem. Checked it out and adjusted it. Now it works a whole lot better. I just need to fine tune it, by it I mean the driver.

What do you time it at and do you retard to other?
Not trying to hijack. Sorry Bryan. But my ? does involve dual fxr's. Sometimes when I put a load on the front end or while dropping down, or jumping down and landing on the front 2 tires it will stall out the front motor so much it will reset the front fxr. By resetting I mean it won't work untill it arms itself again.(Does the beeping thing.) Any suggestions?

Duty,
Have you checked all wires and solder joints. Make sure a wire is not broke or bad connection somewhere. I am not sure but that could be a wire problem.

It sounds like your battery is dipping below the voltage cutoff. If you get a battery with a higher C rating or a little more capicity it should be resolved.
The fact that you front motor is doing it, and not your rear can mean four things. Your rear esc is connected closer to the battery (less plugs and wire), your votage cutoffs are set differently, your solder joint between the front ESC and the battery is not good (like Brian said) or (most likely) you front motor needs a comm cut and new brushes.
I have heard that this can also happen if your capicitor is loose, or you run without one. I do not use the caps, so I do not believe that.
