well my rear is a lil wobbley and i was thinking of getting the RC$WD axle conversion kit have any of you thought about doing this or have you done it yet4

Def something I want to do. My rears are going a bit wobley too...

I havn't really looked at anything yet, but will start tonight and post up what I find... RC4WD probalby has a good one...

I really would like a set of these from Axial.....

Axial Rear Lockouts (http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=24_50&products_id=862)

I've never seen them In Stock and you have to purchase the AX30421 Straight Axles. Ends up being a $50 swap.

I did it with the RC4wd kit, the straight shafts pulled out alot, they would disengage and it sucked. I dont think i had them assembled right, going to try again.

The plus side is the kit had a special outer short shaft that worked great. I will try to get pics when i fix it tonight.

The stock Phillips head screws are to long b/c of the increased shaft size, i replace with 4 of these above.


The last pis you can see where it pulled out, the bearing that went on the outside goes on the inside, problem solved
