Live in Gastonia and just got the xr10 to a roller stage. Anyone still around here crawling. The kit was not that bad to put together but the electronics have got me a little scared, lot to soak in.
Welcome! There are a few people that live close to you that crawl often. Electronics get easier the more you build. Just take your time and ask questions.

Thanks, is there any hobby stores around here that sell crawler supplies, Bought my kit from Matt at Anderson RC but that is a hell of a drive. Its getting aggravating rushing home to see what came in the mail.

Matt is the best around for parts, etc. It's about an hour or more for me to drive to Matt's.
It will all definitely get easier the more you mess with them.

Welcome to the site! I live just above Shelby... John's hobby shop is in Gastonia, but he doesn't carry much aftermarket parts... Matt is great about having parts in stock... If you get him to ship it to ya, you will have it the next day... And shipping is way cheaper than driving. Cycleric lives in Dallas and a few other guys are kinda close(under an hour is close for Crawlers). I've been wanting to give Crowders Mtn. a try. I have found a few nice spots. The leaves seem to be the main trouble, but it may help if more guys start crawling there!;) Best advice I can give you would be... COME TO A COMP.!!! You'll learn more in one day about crawling than you can read in a week... Not only is several of the top drivers in the nation/world right here in N.C., but they all are great guys and will help you out anyway they can!:D

Welcome. You got electronics yet? Planning on running 1 esc or 2? LMK. I've got some parts laying around not being used that may help you out.
