Looks good so far. I know you haven't had the chance to real world test them, but what do you think about the Losi rock shocks? I was thinking about trying a set.

I have them on my other GC2 and they seem to be really smooth. I like the adjustability you get with them. Really nice shocks for the money. Springs are easy to come by as well. I don't think you'll be sorry you made the witch if you deside to.
NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO USE 440 SCREWS BECAUSE 3MM'S ARE TO BIG FOR THE HOLES IN THE PIVITBALLS SUPPLIED WITH THE KIT.:thumb:

That's good to know. I really like the ones I used in my Rustler build, I might have to give them a try.

Nice liberal use of black, in the process of murdering out my axial one of the few things left to do is also shock considerations I was thinking front duratrax shocks all the way around set up semi droop cause I think the losi's are a little short. Im currrently using 1000wt ofna oil up front and 3000wt in the back with internal springs medium I think and it cured my tendecy to lift the front right tire over every obstacle so now my flat irons have something to grip on other than air.

OK people, its finally finished. I kept with the theme of the darkside so let me know what ya think. I just through the paint together on a C10 I picked up from Waggy. It should be a good scuffer body. I usually spend more time painting but I just wanted to finish it and still have something decent to look at. Both links should carry you to the same place if one is not working try the other.

Hey Trug, the link isn't working for me. It just sends me to my Photobucket account.
I added another link try that one. I tried both several times and they both are working for me. When you click on it then fullsize it and scroll down till you find the pics. It should be working. If not let me know.

Done a lil test session today with the new truck. I have to say it went very well. Needed a lil shock tweak'en but other than that it worked awesome!! Adjusting the rear shocks was a breeze with the new Losi shocks. This was money well spent. The truck was a lil better the first time out than I expected. So it can only get better from here.

Sorry you feel that way man... Most of my surfing on the site happens at work, and I don't ever get to see the photos, as we block about all the photo hosters out there.. :(
I have been following it, just not much to say about it. Its a good build it seems per your testing and such. I think that with this site being new, and full of "new to Crawler" people, its hard for them to ask questions about the build... I wouldn't give up, but just give it time. Once we get some folks that know what they are looking at, I am sure that the questions and comments will pick up.

I like the way you have your lower links set up, I was thinking about something similar. So now that you've had a chance to run them what do you think about the Losi shocks?
Don't bail on us, I like your builds. It's like Silas says, most of us are new and don't want to sound like dorks asking something stupid.

Sorry Truggies!!!! I look at this sight many times daily!!! I'm to much of a Newbie to crawling to feel like I have anything worth adding to give you any help other than to say nice job!!! I like all of your post. You seem to have a lot of crawler "know how". Hard to add anything to a guys post that seems like he know way more about crawling than me! I also have been on this site for a while before I got my Crawler. I have a Axial ax-10 RTR. So my crawler isn't up to speed with some yet! This is a Great bunch of guys here! I have met some of them, some I have not, but don't let it get you down! Just because peeps have not answered much on a post doesn't mean they don't look! They may feel they don't have much to add! Don't bail!!! Give this crew a chance! I promise it would be a lost for all! Come to a crawl or bash! You'll have fun! I still want to make a road trip out your way for a crawl. It's a time, money, and family balance for me anyways and prob. most peeps as well! I was just thinking the other day at how well of a group is on this site! I had a post on here asking a question and got no replys. I re-posted a reply of my own with a " ANYONE???? ":finger1::finger1:... It got replys!! So, here what I say to anyone that has not posted a reply to Truggies Vader project!!!! ANYONE?????? :finger1::finger1::jester:
Hope this helps!!!

Thanks for the effort Guys its very much appreciated. I just felt that some of the more experienced vets would have gotten into the thread a lil more seeing it was such a new chassis. It would have been nice to know folks were interested in how it was going with the build and asking questions now and then. NO QUESTION IS A DUM QUESTION!!! especially when you have so many new to crawlers members. You may ask the question they are afraid to ask for fear of sounding stupid. I myself only got started in the crawlers back in late Feb to early March of this year. This thread got no responce to speak of. Thats a bummer, because the truck turned out well.

I replace me ends to use 3mm, but 4-40 works too

It's always nice when you build something and not sure if it's dialed in or even close, but you seem happy and yes it can only get better
