My little slice of crawlin heaven right outside my front door. Located 8 miles north of king n.c home of the greatest hobby shop I know of, great park for any type of recreation rc or just gettin some fresh air. Good hours of operation too, open at 8am closes at 9pm, the summit of the park closes at 8:45. Seems im there about three days a week getting some much needed stress relief after putting in my 8, I cant see a better way of spending a couple of hours than being in the outdoors hearing nothing but mother nature and the 55 turn and burn.

:) nice... I am about 45 mins from King RC. I go up there from time to time, but stick to the shop in Archdale.
We where up there last week but couldn't really find a cool spot to crawl... what trails are the best?

Im at king today watching the offroad race they are having. When you get to the parking lot on top of the mountain look to your right at the picnic area and just go down the trail and you should see a long strown out trail full of rocks. The overlook is a given, and the knob trail all the way at the base of the knob, follow the trail and when it forks off go right instead of left cause their is more walking involved when you go left. Being that I have no life just give me a call whenever you want to go and I should be able to give you the full experience. 401-3150 My nick name is Stitch.

i totally agree. lots of little nooks and crannies to be explored on the mountain. i've only messed around up there free crawling with Nut Buster's rig, but none the less i had a blast. cant wait to get a rig of my own and try it out without having to worry about breaking his stuff:p
