I really didnt know how to ask or where in the forums to put this, some friends and I are trying to get another friend aka creeping crawler into the sport of rock crawling and our idea was to build him a truck without buying a new kit which means building him a rig out of spare parts that we've all took off our rides. As far as I can tell all we need is upper three links with connecters, complete transmission, axle housings with bevel gears, diff housings. The list should change when we figure out what parts we dont have available to our disposal, I would like to see him with a new rig that he purchased himself but being that he is trying to move back up here and get a place on his own and find a job to support everything he's trying to do I figured it would be an act of generosity to spare a few parts that could go to getting another person into crawling, my friends and I have all pitched in as far as we can without having to buy him new parts. It would be greatly appreciated any help with this little project weve started. Just taking the time to read this is thanks enough if nothing else.

i think this is the right place to post this:thumb:

i can give:

4-103mm bent links (i think he has already asked me for these)
4-98mm links (they can be cut for uppers)
4 cut stock lizard skins if you need tires
1 y-link connector (upper link)

ill get all this together next time we have a meet and you or chuck is there i can hand the stuff over

just wanted to say a big thanks goes out to all who are helping with this project. i cant wait to see her crawling the rocks. as for the update here it goes. i was rummaging through my dads building last week and found my old hpi jeep rubicon body that Nut Buster gave me when i was gonna build a t-maxx. that project never got off ground unfortunately, but any way here are some pics of the body after i done some hacking on it. i was kinda copying another one i saw on rccrawler.com except for dovetailing the rearend. i dont care if its comp legal or anything cause it will be more of a bash body. sorry for the jibba jabba, heres the body. if memory serves me correct i believe RockCrawlerAnt (Mr.T) was the one who painted this body a few years ago.
