Hi all..new to the scene and found your great little site here by accident!
I have a few years of Nitro Experience, But my only crawler experience has been limited to a Nylint 1:6 jeep, which with some minor tweaks served well.
I recently purchased the LOSI MRC, and Im trying to use it to introduce myself to crawling again.. If i get into a 2.2 rig will be in the future but for now Im hooked on the little Losi.. Hope there is some folks near greensboro that may be able to give some tips and tricks and show some of the finer things of the sport..

Welcome...glad you found us. I have enjoyed tinkering with the MRC as well. If you get a chance to go to the Hanging rock comp be sure to bring your MRC ,I have a feeling there will be more than just mine :)

Thanks for the welcome guys.. Im an avid offroader, who enjoys jeeps, trucks, Motorcycles, atvs, etc.. However this RCcrawling seems to really draw me in. Im enjoying the Losi mini, with the intentions of gaining driving skill and possibly getting 2.2 rig after the first of the year.. DOes anyone here have the Mini besides myself and upnover?

Buster, Yes I'm a ktm fan, Have been since the Penton days. I have ridden for 33 years, Started when I was 5. Raced for many of those, With my favorite bike being The ktm 300 .

Sweet. what did you use to race? MX? Cross Country? Hare scrambles? Do you still race in a age class?

Hare scrambles, and an occasional gncc if it was within a an hour or two away..
Did the famed Blackwater 100 once. As of right now, I have nothing to ride, havent had anything for about 2 years now as My wonderful wife is in Nursing school, and financial Priorities are there right now.. But shes done in a year,and Im having SEVERE withdrawl, never went more than 3-5 months without a bike since I was 5. Kinda what got me interested in the RC's and mountain biking, Just trying to keep mind occupied until I can ride again!

You run any Mideast Harescrambles? Or More of the NC Harescrambles? I went to Blackwater the last 3 yrs. they had the race. I did not race in it just went to watch the race. I've raced ATV's for several yrs. I'll bet I've seen ya at a Harescramble or GNCC.

I did the WV hare scramble series.. I rode Blackwater ALOT.. it was about 1.5 hours from my house and my good friends family had a cabin up there. Only Raced it once.. Its a killer course.. Mudfleas..L Got to love em.. I raced the snowshoe GNCC once also.. I have not did anything here in NC, But Id like to get back into it once my wife graduates!
