Franklin NC Checking In - Page 3

I have moved back to Bryson City and Irishgunslinger1 and I are trying to find time to go crawling. Anybody interested in the area lets get together and set some times and make it happen. I am constantly lookin off the roadsides for crawl spots. Was thinkin bout checkin out where they tore the old dam down in Dillsboro...

I saw some amazing spots on public beach areas at Wolf and Bear lake. The Dillsboro dam would be great but there's no getting near that thing. Bed & Breakfast on one side and "No Trespassing" on the state(?) property across the river. There's a public area under the 441 bridge just downstream from the dam that is alright. Got some rough little obstacles.

I have taken the scenic drive towards Wolf lake as far as Wolf Creek Baptist Church. Parked there the other day and hiked down with the lil lady to Paradise Falls. I havent been to the Lakes but if its anything like the geography around the Falls, I'm sure its awesome. Her parents actually live about a half mile up the road where you first turn off the main road to go to Bear Lake...
