I've raced ATV a few times there. Never been RC crawling in Elkin, yet.

I live in taylorsville...but my g/f's in N.Wilkes (i just haven't moved up there yet..) so we're fairly close to ya. up there all the time to go the the walmart and the movies and basin creek

I'm in Kannapolis, but spent a lot of time at Stone Mnt State park and down at the New River Campground in Sparta. A lot of good crawling in your area. There is a nice formation of rocks at mile marker 360 on the parkway in your area.

Another Elkin area crawler checking in here. I live in the Elkin area as well. I use a Axial Scorpion (mostly stock) and have been up to Stone Mtn. a few times. I would like to meet up with some of you local guys and make an afternoon of crawling.
